? SMT Operator – Electronics Manufacturing
? South Portland, ME | ? $19/hr | ? Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | ? Full-Time U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR-regulated facility)

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SMT Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. If you have a passion for precision, enjoy working with cutting-edge equipment, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you!
?️ What You’ll Do:
• Set up, operate, and monitor SMT machines (pick-and-place, stencil printers, reflow ovens)
• Load components and feeders per job setup sheets and BOMs
• Perform first article inspections and verify component placement
• Conduct in-process visual inspections and correct defects
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment
• Troubleshoot machine errors and production issues with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with engineers and quality control to ensure top-notch output
• Maintain accurate production logs and quality checklists
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
? What You Bring:
• U.S. Citizenship required (ITAR-regulated facility)
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
• Ability to read assembly drawings, schematics, and datasheets
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/MES systems
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SMT processes, IPC standards, and ESD practices
• IPC-A-610 certification
• Familiarity with Samsung/Hanwha SMT platforms
