You will ensure that SMT feeders, reels, and associated components are properly labeled, organized, and verified according to job orders and production schedules. The SMT Kitter plays a critical role in reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality during the SMT assembly process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The SMT Kitter plays a critical role in reducing downtime, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality during the SMT assembly process.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), job travelers, and assembly instructions.
- Pull and kit components required for SMT jobs from inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and revisions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Label and organize SMT feeders, reels, and trays in preparation for line setup.
- Communicate effectively with inventory control and production personnel regarding shortages, discrepancies, or approved substitutions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure unused components are properly returned to stock.
- Handle all components in compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety protocols.
- Track and log material usage, consumption, and returns using ERP/MRP systems.
- Assist with SMT line setup and teardown as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen – This is an ITAR-regulated position.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Familiarity with SMT components and feeder types preferred.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret BOMs, part numbers, and job travelers.
- Basic computer skills; experience with ERP or MRP systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and performing repetitive tasks while standing.
