Design Drafter for Civil Engineering Projects
Please Note: No out-of-state or out-of-country applicants will be considered for this local job.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced Design Drafter (at least 3 years of experience) who’s ready to bring precision, creativity, and a bit of personality to the civil engineering team. If you enjoy turning survey data into smart, buildable designs —  you might be just the person we’re looking for. 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Drafting detailed plans for roads, grading, stormwater systems, and utilities
  • Creating surface models from survey data (contours, elevations — the works)
  • Designing alignments and profiles for infrastructure projects
  • Building 3D corridor models and cross-sections that make sense and look sharp
  • Preparing construction documents and layout sheets for permitting and build-out
  • Managing drawing files, styles, and references like a CAD wizard
  • Collaborating with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to keep everything accurate and on track
  • Assisting with site plans and finish grading with input from the project engineer
  • Applying your knowledge of sewer, water, and storm drain systems

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Strong attention to detail and file organization

  • Familiarity with civil infrastructure design standards
