Now Hiring: Hands-On Shop Assistant ($17–$20/hr)
Small custom manufacturing shop seeking a reliable, motivated person to help build made‑to‑order products using slate stone. This is hands-on, skill-building work — not factory line production. Every piece is unique, and we’ll train the right person.
What You’ll Do:
• Cut, shape, sand, and finish stone
• Use shop tools and machinery
• Measure, assemble, and quality‑check products
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace
• Support teammates as needed
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
• Enjoy working with your hands
• Are detail‑oriented and dependable
• Are comfortable with tools (or eager to learn)
• Can read a tape measure and do basic math
• Can communicate clearly in English
• Work well independently and in a small team
Requirements:
• 18+ years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing most of the day
• High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift (flexible hours available)
Pay: $17–$20/hr depending on experience
