If you're detail-oriented, steady-handed, and have a passion for precision electronics work, this is your opportunity to be part of a collaborative, quality-driven team.In this role, you'll hand-assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs), ensuring each product meets our high-performance standards. You'll work closely with Quality and Engineering teams, using your technical skills to keep our production line moving efficiently and accurately.Key Responsibilities
Perform precision hand soldering of SMT and through-hole components to PCBs.
Follow assembly instructions, drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Inspect solder joints to ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards.
Rework and repair defective or misaligned components.
Operate soldering irons, microscopes, tweezers, and other assembly tools.
Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant work area.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
Accurately complete documentation and production records.
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship (required to comply with ITAR regulations).
High school diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in electronics a plus.
1–3 years of experience in electronics assembly or hand soldering.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
Strong manual dexterity and steady hand; capable of working under a microscope.
Basic computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification.
Familiarity with ESD-safe work environments and handling procedures.
Experience with Wave or Selective Soldering systems.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day.
Fine motor skills for repetitive soldering and tool use.
Visual acuity for close-up work, including color vision and depth perception.
Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a cleanroom or static-controlled environment.
