Production Line Lead
Do you have a knack for keeping things running smoothly? Can you juggle multiple tasks while ensuring your team is on track, safe, and producing quality products? Well, do we have the perfect role for you!
This position reports to the Production Supervisor, and is an integral part of the production team in ensuring efficiency, adherence to production schedule, employee training, and product quality. Assists in coordinating all aspects of the packaging department for the cuts and mashed potato lines. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the cuts and mashed potato production lines like a pro. Ensure your team is hitting daily production goals.Monitor production employees, coordinate schedules (including those all-important breaks!), and adjust staffing as needed to keep things flowing. Work with all Departments to quickly resolve production hiccups. Identify ways to improve efficiency, reduce production costs.Things can get busy, and you’re ready to jump in and assist wherever needed! Be the safety champion, ensuring your team follows all safety rules and guidelines while creating a safe environment for everyone. Take care of all food safety and human safety concerns, communicating directly with the right team members to solve problems
Experience & Education: You’ve got a 2-year degree (or equivalent experience), with 2-4 years in production or a similar field.
