Our customer is looking for the Full Time Planning and Research Associate (PRA I) to work in their location in Augusta, ME
Planning and Research Associate I (PRA I)
  • Collects and analyzes data, develops and maintains databases, and presents reports, facts, and statistics relevant to wastewater infrastructure planning, construction, and financing to division management, the Maine Municipal Bond Bank, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
  • Sets up contracts for three of the Department’s wastewater grant programs (Wastewater Planning & Construction/Clean Water State Revolving Fund, Small Community Grant, and Overboard Discharge Removal), is responsible for maintaining the financial areas of Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan databases, and processes grant and loan payments for the division.
  • Responsible for setting up accounts, uploading data, and assigning access rights for division staff, loan borrowers, consultants, and contractors in the Davis-Bacon wage rate compliance software system, Elation Systems, and is the alternate liaison with the vendor to resolve issues.  
  • This is professional services work performed under limited supervision.
 Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of information management systems and applications.
  • Experience with databases, specifically Access.
  • Experience with data quality control and analysis.
  • Experience setting up contracts.

  • Pay Rate: $21.20
