Manufacturing Manager-Commercial Metal FabricationPay $60,000-$80,000Full Time Temp-to-HireLewiston, Me Job Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating all activities related to production in processing materials or manufacturing products within an industrial organization. This role involves serving as a leader, mentor, and facilitator for quality, safety, and production, while maintaining production priorities and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
  • Lead, mentor, and facilitate quality, safety, and production efforts.
  • Maintain production priorities and schedule work hours accordingly.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety and operator checks.
  • Perform document reviews before commencing job/tasks.
  • Inspect in-process parts for quality and conformance to specifications.
  • Prioritize the sequence of parts/fabrication.
  • Coordinate with other departments and shifts.
  • Review all production and operating reports, resolving operational and manufacturing issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Ensure completion of all required paperwork.
  • Advocate for safety, best practices, and company policies.
  • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions and controls.
  • Promote good housekeeping.
  • Coordinate repairs with maintenance and impacted departments.
  • Assign work to team members based on skill set and availability.
  • Conduct training and provide technical guidance, including safety and job/task-specific training.
Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Lifting 60 lbs.
  • Bending, twisting, reaching
