Maintenance Millwright We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Millwright to join our Maintenance team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all mill machinery and equipment. 3– 5 years of experience in a comparable maintenance or millwright role.
Vocational or trade school degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
Experience with electrical construction and installation.
Proficiency in repair, design, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, and carpentry— preferably in the sawmill industry.
Understanding of safety rules, regulations, and best practices.
Ability to prioritize tasks to reduce downtime and maintain efficient operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods on hard surfaces.
Ability to lift, carry, and rotate loads up to 100 lbs (with assistance when required).
Comfortable working in hazardous or challenging environments, including high heat, humidity, cold, wind, confined spaces, heights, loud areas, dusty or wet conditions.
Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Dependable, punctual, and compliant with attendance and safety policies.
