As a Licensed Plumber, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial structures. You'll be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and code compliance of plumbing installations while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints to assess and plan plumbing installations and layouts.
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair water supply lines, heating systems, and associated fixtures.
- Pipe and Fixture Work: Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures to create efficient plumbing systems.
- Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Handle customer queries, provide professional advice, and maintain positive communication throughout the service process.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and efficiently resolve plumbing-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience: A trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumber.
- License: Possession of a valid plumbing license is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address plumbing problems effectively.
