Commercial Journeyman/Master ElectricianLong Term Temporary position  Portland, ME$30-$40/hrMon-Fri 7:00-3:30$500 Sign on bonus Do you have the experience of coming onto a job site and being able to do the job without any training. We need you! Looking for 2-3 very skilled commercial electricians for a long-term temporary assignment. As a Commercial Journeyman/Master Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings. This role requires a thorough understanding of commercial electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, and control systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate and efficient installations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Maine.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Bending, Twisting Reaching and standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and inclement weather.
