Well-known company in Ellsworth that has been in business for over almost 100 years is seeking experienced rough carpenters to join their crew and become part of the team! This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with potential overtime.
Entry Level Carpenter’s Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to framing, roofing, siding, window and door installation, drywall/sheetrock, painting. Duties may also include demolition, cleaning and organizing work site, carrying, loading and unloading materials. Other duties to be assigned by your supervisor and may change from day to day. Requirements: Knowledge of construction or carpentry and the ability to read a tape measure is required. Bending, twisting, lifting up to 70 lbs., pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, working from ladders, stooping, walking, standing, occasionally working outside in all types of weather. Preferred candidates will have graduated from a related carpentry technical program and/or demonstrate 1-3 years of applicable Carpentry Experience. Tools Needed: Hammer, tape measure, pencil, speed square, pry bar and tool pouch/belt.
