Now Hiring: Experienced Rough Carpenter – Full-Time, Year-Round Position We’re looking for a skilled and dependable rough carpenter to join the team. If you take pride in your work, know your way around a job site, would like to perfect the trade by working with experienced professionals, and don’t mind a little sawdust, this could be a great fit. What You’ll Do:
Frame structures, install siding, windows, and doors with accuracy
Patch drywall and handle basic painting tasks
Safely perform demolition work
Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Work outdoors in all kinds of weather—this is Maine, after all
What You Bring:
Solid experience in carpentry or general construction
Ability to read measurements and follow plans confidently
Your own basic tools: hammer, tape measure, pencil, speed square, pry bar, and tool belt
A strong work ethic and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
A good eye for spotting issues before they become problems
Comfort working at heights and on ladders
A positive attitude and a sense of humor (we appreciate both)
