Deliver Driver (Non CDL)Temp-to-hire Full-Time (Aprx 32-40 hours/week)$16-$18/hrBrunswick, ME Job Summary:  We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to pick up and deliver equipment such as lawn mowers and snow blowers to our customers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: 
  • Safely operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver equipment to customers' locations. 
  • Load and unload equipment onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage. 
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures and paperwork from customers upon delivery. 
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. 
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, or other issues. 
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of oneself and others on the road. 
  • Assist with other duties in the warehouse or store as needed, such as organizing inventory or assisting customers with equipment rentals. 
Requirements: 
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. 
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred. 
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
