Job Description


DUTIES -
  • Builds, erects and aligns forms for various concrete structures and foundations.
  • Using wire mesh, rebar, preparing appropriate sand and cement mixtures and placing, pouring and rough leveling of concrete.
  • Create fine finishes concrete by floating, trowel edging and brushing in accordance with specifications.
  • Interprets blueprints and reads survey stakes to establish correct grades.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Utilizes hand tools and non-complex small power tools (multiple power saws, drills, hammer drills, jack hammer) and performs minor maintenance as required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Prior experience is not required (will train) but is helpful. This could be a temp to hire position for the right candidate.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to move/lift/handle 50 to 100 lbs, stand long periods of time, bend, twist, push, pull, reach, climb, standing and walk.

  • Ability to work in all types of weather including wet/inclement weather and must have rain weather gear if working in wet conditions.

  • Reliable transportation to shop site - can ride to jobsite with crew.

  • Good attitude, work with a team and willingness to learn.

  • Safety-toe/steel-toe work boots required
