Boiler OperatorDo you know how to keep things hot, but not too hot? Are you the kind of person who thrives under pressure and can handle the heat without breaking a sweat? If you answered “yes,” then we’ve got a job that’ll steam your kettle! This position is responsible for operation, general maintenance, and repair and troubleshooting of the high pressure boiler in the food processing plant. Additional duties include operating an ammonia refrigeration system. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Education and/or Experience:
Maine boiler operator’s license, preferred 4th class SSE or higher
2-3 years’ experience in a food processing environment
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to perform maintenance on boilers and affiliated equipment, pipe fitting skills helpful
