aligning and fitting together fabricated parts according to a specific lay out, work order, blue prints, schematics as well as sketches with the ability to prepare for the welds.
cutting and trimming metal objects to specific dimensions.
Setting up fixtures/jigs and setting up machine tools.
May be selecting and using grinders along with other metal finishers.
May need to inspect own work for conferments and specifications.
Perform vertical welding.
Proficient in Carbon Arching,
Fits and tacks welds; sub assemblies into full products.
MUST be able to read blueprints,
Must be competent using hand tools, such as a tape measure.
Must be able to demonstrate basic flux core welding and skills during weld assessment.
Upon Contingent Offer, must pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug-screen. Must be able to be Respirator Fit.
Will meet on jobsite for weld-test during interview process.
